Electrical Vibrator Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India

Electrical Vibrator

Product Code : JA-SI-8026

The Electrical Vibrator from Jaincolab uses a thin steel rod, magnetized longitudinally, that is clamped at one end and passes through a small solenoid to demonstrate vibration at the frequency of an A.C. supply. As a trusted physics laboratory equipment manufacturer and exporter, Jaincolab supplies this scientific instrument to schools, colleges, and research laboratories across India and internationally.

The solenoid is connected to A.C. mains through a suitable lamp resistance, and the whole unit is mounted on a polished wooden base, complete with pulley, pan, and cord. The solenoid and a horse-shoe shaped magnet cause the rod (called the vibrator) to vibrate with the frequency of the A.C. supply, making it a useful demonstration apparatus for laboratory studies of forced vibration and resonance.

How It Works

A permanent horse-shoe magnet is mounted on the base board, and a steel rod passes between its poles. The length of the vibrator is adjusted until its natural frequency corresponds with that of the supply, producing resonant vibration. The rod is slightly flattened at the free end and a hole is drilled in it so that a string can be tied through it, enabling connection to the pulley and pan for further experimental measurement.
