The Hydrodynamics of Trickle Bed Reactor Apparatus (SKU JA-CR-9157) is a set-up for measuring pressure drop, liquid hold-up and flow regime in a trickle bed, where liquid trickles down over packing with co-current gas. Water pumped from a 60 litre tank is sprayed onto an 80 mm x 600 mm borosilicate glass packed bed, and air enters at the top through a sparger, with solenoid valves for instant start and stop of both flows. It is supplied by JaincoLab for chemical reaction engineering laboratories.
