The SCR lamp flasher trainer studies SCRs in a DC lamp flasher and a TRIAC in an AC flasher. A UJT 2N2646 relaxation oscillator triggers the SCR DC flasher, whose repetition rate changes with the oscillator frequency, and the same DC flasher switches a TRIAC that drives a 230 V, 40 W incandescent lamp (SKU JA-PET-1429).
