The Automated Solid Liquid Extraction Pilot Plant (SKU JA-CELE-9508) is a continuous screw extractor with PID control for leaching studies. Solids from a 2 litre hopper are carried through a 1,000 mm extraction column by a PTFE Archimedean screw against the solvent, and a microprocessor digital PID controller with serial card drives three automated pneumatic control devices. Extract and spent solids are collected in 10 litre tanks. This automated solid-liquid extraction plant is supplied by JaincoLab for chemical engineering and process control laboratories.

The plant has a 1,000 mm extraction column with PTFE Archimedean screw, feed and transport screws at 0-20 rpm and 0-10 rpm, a thyristor-controlled heating unit, three Pt100 temperature points and a microprocessor PID controller with serial card.
