The Filter Press and Micro Filter Pilot Plant (SKU JA-CELE-9516) is a solid-liquid separation plant that combines a plate-and-frame filter press with a cartridge microfilter. A screw pump with inverter control feeds slurry from a 100 litre stirred tank through the filter press with transparent acrylic frames, and the filtrate passes the microfilter to a 100 litre tank. A magnetic flow meter, a turbidimeter and a PID controller with Windows supervision software monitor the run. It is supplied by JaincoLab for chemical and environmental engineering laboratories.
