The Batch Distillation Pilot Plant (SKU JA-CELE-9499) is a compact sieve-tray batch distillation unit for chemical engineering mass transfer practicals. A 600 mm column with 7 sieve trays stands on a 3 litre reboiler with a 1600 W heater under thyristor control, and a condenser with reflux head returns liquid at a ratio set by two programmable timers. Six digital thermometers follow the temperature profile. This sieve tray batch distillation plant is supplied by JaincoLab for engineering colleges and polytechnics.
