The Continuous Distillation Pilot Plant (SKU JA-CELE-9501) is a sieve-tray continuous distillation unit that feeds a mixture steadily into the column and draws off distillate and bottoms product. A metering pump delivers 0 to 8.5 litres/hour from a 5 litre feed tank into a 600 mm column with 7 sieve trays above a 3 litre reboiler with a 1600 W heater. Six Pt100 digital thermometers follow the column profile. This continuous distillation plant is supplied by JaincoLab for chemical engineering mass transfer laboratories.
