The Thin Film Evaporation Plant (SKU JA-CELE-9521) is a wiped thin film evaporator for concentrating heat-sensitive or viscous solutions under vacuum. The feed is spread as a thin film by a variable speed rotor over a 0.06 m² heated surface, and the vapour is condensed in a 0.26 m² shell-and-tube condenser, with a 0.7 kW liquid ring vacuum pump holding the vacuum.
