The Hydraulic Ram Test Rig (SKU JA-HLE-8980) is a hydraulic ram test rig for studying how a ram uses the water hammer effect of a large flow at low head to lift a smaller flow to a greater height. The ram works against a delivery head of up to 20 m from a 2.5 m supply head, discharging about 250 litres per hour at 10 m head. A 0.5 HP single phase pump fills the supply tank from the sump.
